We (the DiFebo Family) started our business the fall of 1989. It started as a small delicatessen, sub shop and pasta house. We started serving pasta dishes made with my grandparents sauce recipes. My father made (and still makes) the sauces, meatballs and other family delights that have been handed down to him from his parents and grandparents. We are accustomed to large family gatherings. Therefore, cooking for our customers is really like entertaining for our closest friends and family! My entire family at one time has been or still is involved in the management and creative process of DiFebo's. My sister Michelle, her son Nicholas, my parents Bob Sr. and Charlotte and my brother Bobby Jr. My brother Bobby, Jr. has taken his talents with wine and his love for people to new heights. His involvement with our wait staff and personal love for our customers makes walking into DiFebo's an experience similar to walking into Grandparents home! My husband, Jeff Osias, joined our family team 7 years ago and has helped turn our restaurant into the culinary delight it has evolved into! I am Lisa DiFebo-Osias. I personally invite you to come and visit our restaurant. Sit down to an unforgettable meal with us, from veal to cheese steaks we have it all!

BETHANYRESTAURANTS.COM REVIEW
We would call this an Italian/American restaurant with occasional menu surprises which fit in neither catagory. We eat here several times a year and the food and service has been a bit inconsistent. Sometimes one of the the food and service is very good and the other not so, sometimes both are good, sometimes very good. It is a popular place in the summer months, so plan accordingly and eat early ( before 6pm) or late ( after 8pm).

ALMOST A DISASTER! Started out with bruschetta and a glass of wine which was good. Husband had some type of seafood stew which he thought was great. I had a tomato/basil penne which I thought was too much tomato. The meal almost was a disaster as my husband thought they had lost our order and we waited nearly a half hour between appetizer and meal while people who had come in after us were getting their meals. My husband threatened to leave if our meals didn't come soon and luckily they arrived. If the waiter just would have said our meals were delayed and would we like another glass of wine on the house, it might have helped the situation. Inspite of this, my husband said it was the best meal he had during our week-long stay.

My boyfriend and I come visit family every summer here in Bethany Beach, and always make time for a special night out at Difebo's. We've always have delicious food and great service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. we look forward to seeing them all tonight!

This place is crazy. An italian bistro with asian food on the menu? We didn't want to stick around for the second course. The "award winning" salad my have won an award if the mixed green were not wilted. Really upsetting, to go to a place for a dish and when you recieve it, its bad. Just bad. When I asked, I was told that the chef doesn't spend any time there. I guess they opened a new restaurant close by. Maybe she will come back. I wouldn't go there again if they can't get thier theme right or their salad greens.

I can not believe the bad reviews . We have NEVER had a bad meal at Di Febos. I am Italian and never eat red sauce out ,but I will eat Di Febos it tastes like my Grandmothers "gravy". Our waitstaff has always been excellent my husband and I list this as one of our favorites and we are not easy to please.

I've been going to DiFebo's for 18 years--back when it was a deli--but I won't be going back. Long wait for bread. Chewy overcooked calamari, completely tasteless sauce to go with it. Dry bland eggplant parmesan that must have been reheated a dozen times. Service was awful. Couldn't get a water refill; would have ordered another $59 bottle of chianti to wash the dry food down if our waitress could ever be found or if we had been asked. A major dissapointment--I wish I had my $200 (for four) back.

We just had a great dnner there last night. Have been eating there for years and have always enjoyed it. I believe they prepare the food in advance, from scratch, and then reheat it. It's called effeciency. Had the lasagna, only $22, was piping hot and a huge portion. It was delicious. The tomato crab soup was to die for. Never had a bad meal there, most were outstanding. Food was so good we ordered extra to go.Our waitress was Rebecca and she was great too.

The food is expensive and not even good. I had to pay $28 for a lasagna that was cold twice and the server who couldn't even understand English told me it was cold because it was frozen and needed to be heated more. So I paid $28 for frozen lasagna. speaking of the service - if you do go there DO NOT let them give you a server that cant speak English. they must get a tax break for hiring foreigners. i could hardly understand him and he definitely couldn't understand me. For $55 per person I WANT BETTER SERVICE. DO NOT EAT HERE
