The Fat Tuna Grill
It's been a couple of years since we've been to the Fat Tuna. It's much busier than before. The food hasn't changed much, but the service is poor. Great place to eat if you have small kids. The noise in the place will drown out any disturbances your kids create. As in other reviews, the service and attitude aren't much to write home about.

Reading these reviews is certainly entertaining. Funny that Steve and Long Time Local have the exact same writing style, and a penchant for CAPITALIZATION. I'm guessing that they are one in the same. Either way, the TUNA isn't so BAD. Food's pretty good and the place is unique in its own way. The owner/management needs to get a grip. Your enthusastic defense only arouses suspicion and invites more criticism. Pay more attention to running a good operation and providing the type of service you claim the Tuna has. Actions speak louder than words...

I'm not one to write reviews, but after some of the unfair reviews that my favorite place has received, I felt it was necessary. I've been going to the "TUNA" as most of the locals refer to it as since it opened around 7 years ago. The food has always been great, as well as the service. We've had some issues over the years, but I will say that the management has always dealt with them promptly, and exceeded our expectations every time. Which is more than I can say for some of the other local restaurants. Almost every time we are there a manager visits our table to check on us, and we notice that the manager also visits just about every other table to do the same. Where else does this happen? Especially in a restaurant this size? As for the noise that everyone complains about... Come on people, its a restaurant that probably seats 400 or more people, and they cater to families and large parties, its going to be noisy. If you don't like the noise, ask to sit in their small private room at the front or on their outdoor patio, or now I think they even have tables in the sand at their patio. We often do this when we take my Mother in law along with us. The prices are fair, yes I agree that some items are expensive, but they use FRESH seafood, and I know for a fact that they buy FRESH local produce when they can. One of the owners told me that they are even growing their own produce this year. All in all, the tuna is my families favorite and we think you'll agree..

The best pulled pork. So glad we stopped everything was great, can't wait to go back for more. We live 2 hours away but i will drive it just for dinner.Yummy.

Went to Charlie K's for dinner and to feed a gang. I have to say I was thrilled, we ordered a little of everything. The pulled pork and brisket, along with the chicken were delicious. We knew that the chicken stays somewhat pink but cooked though when smoked and it just fell off the bones. The portion sizes were extremely generous, hot and very good. The staff was very pleasant and fun. I will be going back when the next batch of visitors come to visit. Welcome to Bethany Charlie K's!

This place would be better situated in Ocean City. Or the Jersey Shore for that matter. Slow service and bland food make this place undesirable.

I rarely leave reviews but after reading the negative ones posted we had to leave a positive one for this place to help their image. We had fabulous service and food! Their crab cakes were awesome and the crab dip and lobster bruchetta are must-trys. Our son is of course a chicken tender expert and he loved his kids meal! If we come back to Bethany we'll definitely be eating here again. Don't let the negative feedback deter you...check it out for yourself.

The food tasted great but our Alaskan king crab legs were a little short on meat. Lots of empty spots inside the shell. It was worth it though because they were delicious. The kids shrimp meal was devoured within minutes by our ten year old and he loved being able to draw all over the paper table cloth. Waited a little while to get our initial service but other than that we had a great experience.

Perucci's
My sister and I were so excited to try this restaurant out; unfortunately it did not end well. We started with the caprese salad and the bruschetta which were fabulous. My sister ordered the linguine & clams in a white wine sauce while I ordered the manicotti. Her clams looked so good that we both ate one before we touched anything else. As soon as we bite in, they were grainy and mixed with large shell parts. I actually broke a piece of my back tooth on the first bit. We felt the other clams and they were the same. The waitress immediately took them away and I went to the bathroom to see if what I spit out was actually tooth or shell. It was tooth and you can see where it broke off. After that we had no appetite to continue. We were extremely disappointed in the handling of the situation by the management. She took the clams off our bill (which we couldn’t eat anyway) and offered a haphazard apology after stating the clams were perfectly fine. We will not be returning.

Having lived in Manhattan, we were used to crowded cafes and this place would fit right in in NYC. Way too many tables and the single chef was over whelmed that night. The wait staff has to 'squeeze' by each patron, often hitting or bumping into customers. It's hard to enjoy your meal when you constantly have to bend over or move to allow a waiter to squeeze by. I agree with the reviewers that rate the sauce bland. The portions were not equal to the price in my opinion. One of my pet peeves is a waiter that sticks the bill holder inside his/her pants...I don't think you should ever see this in a 'fine' establishment. I believe adding a second chef or removing a couple tables would go a long way to making the place more enjoyable.

Off the Hook
First time at Off the Hook was last Friday. Waited 20 minutes for a table. Found the food to be marginal, at best. For a place that prides itself for being FRESH, we were disappointed to see so many fried entrees on the menu. Both of our meals were served over a big bowl of moist fries. For the price I didn't think the food was good at all. I gave my crab cakes to my fiance, and he gave me his shrimp. The calamari (appetizer) was also breaded and fried. For the price, the chef could use a little more imagination in preparing his menu. Although the seafood may be fresh, once it is fried it is no longer healthy. Would definitely not go back to Off the Hook.

We tried Off the Hook and were so impressed we went for a second dinner there during our one week trip to Bethany. They were accommodating to our group of 4 adults and 4 young children. They are obviously aiming high with their menu and execution - and achieving something special. Foodie types who visit/live in the area will be happy to have a strong option. Nice wine choices. The cioppino was fabulous, with a rich satisfying broth. Fried calamari was perfect, not like chewing rubber bands as in some places. The chef/owner paid a visit which we appreciated. Congratulations to him and his staff for achieving something sophisticated and delicious, yet fresh and uncomplicated. 5 stars!!!!

First time to OTH and was very impressed , especially for this being a new opening this summer. We all went for the crab/jalapeno bisque...almost too much for an appetizer, but we all agreed it was a must try. Spouse had the Cioppino which was very good, I had the soft shells and it was excellently prepared. Our guest had grits and oysters small plates which were also very good. Service was very good and timely. Only negative was the restaurant was struggling to keep the room cool; hopefully that was a one time problem. Would also appreciate opportunity to get some of the supper plates available during the evening as they look very interesting as well. We'll certainly go back as it has an interesting menu, good service and preparation, and is 'local'. Would definitely recommend to others.

Bethany Blues
As much as we have loved Bethany Blues in the past, I have to say, the couple of times we had them this summer were just not very good. What a shame, as we thought at first maybe they were just having an off night. The meats have dried out, the mashed potatoes, although the flavor is there, was inconsisten in texture. The fried green tomoates were just awful an the Asian slaw is lacking a certain punch to it. The service has always been good and we tend to go right when they open and the place is always very clean. It's just such a shame that they have gone downhill. We're hoping they will improve next summer.
Rating: 2   RL - posted: Wednesday, August 25th, 2010 @ 11:41 am

We've gone to Bethany Blues every year since 2005, and this year will probably be our last. The quality of the food has consistently gone downhill. Since my husand and I are big BBQ fans and do a lot of our own smoking at home, we're sad to see this once fantastic place decline. The brisket is the biggest disappointment. It used to be tender, juicy and delicious, but the past several times I've ordered it, it's been dry, and was utterly inedible the last time (earlier this week). I actually sent it back - something I *never* do. The replacement brisket was marginally better, but not much. The St. Louis ribs were disappointing as well, but my in-laws seemed to like the baby back ribs. On the positive side, their salads are delicious and large (they should be for the price.) I enjoy their spinach salad, and my husband orders the wedge. Their house salad is very nicely put together as well. The cornbread is always good, and the service was friendly and prompt. But we go there for the BBQ and it's just not as good as it used to be. I guess if you lower your expectations, you won't be disappointed, but I don't think we'll be going back, and I definitely won't be recommending it any more.

I used to go to casapulla's when they were just a little place off the beaten path. Loved their Italian Subs, packed full of Meat .... After a few years they opened another place on Route 1 in Rehoboth, still good but lacked the Sub Shop charm. Now I hear they've gotten bad .. I remember them as one of the reason I went "down the shore".

It should be a crime to have such a beautiful view and such a lousy restaurant. I have been coming to Bethany for the past 42 years, and I'd rather eat the dried roast beef of Holiday House over the nonsense Mango's tries to pass off as food. We haven't had luck with them on numerous occasions, but being the eternal optimists thought we'd try again. Where to begin... the flies were numerous and disgusting (get some fly strips, guys). The wine was mediocre at best, and the wine glasses were smudged. The food, oy the food... the nachos were soggy, the fish was over-cooked, the salad was soggy, and the dip was tasteless. The only, and I mean only redeeming factors were one mixed drink and a decent beer list. Come on, y'all. Just because you own the best view on the boardwalk, don't ruin it with horrific food. Read the reviews of restaurants that are popular - people gladly pay up to $100 for two people to dine out. Raise the prices, order quality ingredients, include something the little ones will actually eat, and hire some real chefs. You'd be doing the entire town a favor!

26 ( formerly Steakhouse 26)
We had dinner there Sat night with another couple. We all ordered "steak and cake" and it was very good. We also got a special app (stuffed mushrooms) and that was good also. The service was good, but we dined early, around 5:45. There was a special dessert (bread pudding) on the menu and it was excellent.

The Buffalo Oysters and the Calamari were not good and used to be our favorite starters. The Tuna not good and the Day Boat Scallops were under cooked. We were also brought the wrong entree. The Margaritas and coffee were very good. We live here and drove up from O C because we used to really like this place.

Blue Water
One of my favortie places until last week. We were seated in a practically empty restaurant on Friday (8/20) night a little before 6. We were told by the host that the specials were still in effect. When we were seated we were given the regular menu AND the prix fixe menu. When the waitress arrived she rudely stated that we could look at the prix fixe menu for another time, but the kitchen had changed over to the regular menu. When it was explained that it wasn't yet 6 o'clock, she became inhospitable; almost adversarial. I would have ordered from the regular menu, but I won't pay top dollar for rudeness. We left and went to Off the Hook, right across the street. It was unfortunate, because this establishment serves outstanding food. I'll give them another try down the road if they're still in business. Hopefully Miss Manners found another job by then.

We came out from DC for the week and went there because the last review said they had cedar planked salmon on the menu. The waitress said they never have and never would. The chef does not care for it. The salmon I did have was great with lobster and potatoes. My wife had the Pasta, wich apreared as though they made thier own pasta. It too was great. Seemed a little too small to be loud. Is there anywhere in bethany that does have cedar salmon?
Rating: 5   Shawn - posted: Monday, August 9th, 2010 @ 7:20 pm

The food was just OK. Average crab cakes and a salmon on a mini-cedar plank that never got near a fire. Got there 7:45 on a Thursday and was told the wait for two would be 45 minutes. Locals get priority seating, so our wait was actually 90 minutes. Possibly the loudest restaurant I have ever been in. Like eating next to a jet engine. Plenty of workers, but they were clearly stressed, probably from the incredible decibel level. Suggestion - fix the acoustics before OSHA comes in and makes your workers wear earplugs.

The Bistro at Bear Trap Dunes
After reading the last review we immediately made reservations for dinner. The restaurant was packed but we were seated on time. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were all very good but my daughter thought the sauce on her steak was too salty. We rated the food and service a 5. Our table was near the open kitchen which made it noisy but we enjoyed watching kitchen staff. Overall a 4 due to the noise.

Do not eat here. Was told the wait would be 20 minutes, it took 2 hours. I complained to the host, who said my check would be discounted. Check arrived with no discount, and I went to ask the host about it. Out of nowhere, the chef/owner came up and started yelling at me telling me "You have free will dont you?! No one held a gun to your head and told you to wait 2 hours!" If never been yelled at that way in my life. I stood in shock. with my jaw dropped and hand across my chest. She then mocked my stance and stated that "If you don't pay your bill within 5 minutes I will call the police." Keep in mind our food hadn't even arrived, but I realized this was not a rational woman so we went back to the table and paid our bill (all the while I was literally shaking and had tears welling up in my eyes, I hate confrontation and avoid it at all costs). Next thing I know, the police have arrived. I've never so much as gotten a parking ticket in my life, let alone had the police called on me! I was flabbergasted. I'm not sure what was going through this woman's mind, but calling the police on your patrons is not the way to run a restaurant. It will take me a very long time to get this experience out of my system. Not to mention the food was undercooked and 3 of the menu items were sold out by the time we were finally given a table. Avoid this place at all costs, try Magnolia's, Fat Tuna, Bethany Blues, The Parkway, all excellent restaurants that don't call the police on their patrons.

We had been here several times in the past with decent meals always. Came this past Tuesday, luckily the upstairs was open, very cozy and a lot quieter. Our waiter recommended the stuffed flounder, which I ordered. My partner chose the BBQ ribs, which were out of this world. I told the waiter that these were without a doubt better than any I have had locally anywhere! For app. we had the clams casino and oysters rockefeller.. the waitress said they were make from scratch and i beleived it.. they were amazing! We shared a dessert of coconut cream pie, which is also made in house apparently. To die for!! Not perfect though. The vegetable offering was just ok, the green beans not cooked enough, barely room temperature. My partner was smart and got the cole slaw which he said was very good. We were lucky I think that we had an older server who was not a flighty as some of the younger servers we've had around town (and magnolias). She was well spoken and seemed to know the menu quite well. I recommend this for intimate dinner out of for the entire family, esp. with young ones, downstairs is perfect!

Di Febo's Restaurant & Bar
ALMOST A DISASTER! Started out with bruschetta and a glass of wine which was good. Husband had some type of seafood stew which he thought was great. I had a tomato/basil penne which I thought was too much tomato. The meal almost was a disaster as my husband thought they had lost our order and we waited nearly a half hour between appetizer and meal while people who had come in after us were getting their meals. My husband threatened to leave if our meals didn't come soon and luckily they arrived. If the waiter just would have said our meals were delayed and would we like another glass of wine on the house, it might have helped the situation. Inspite of this, my husband said it was the best meal he had during our week-long stay.

The "award winning" salad my have won an award if the mixed green were not wilted. Really upsetting, to go to a place for a dish and when you recieve it, its bad. Just bad. When I asked, I was told that the chef doesn't spend any time there. I guess they opened a new restaurant close by. Maybe she will come back. I wouldn't go there again if they can't get thier theme right or their salad greens.

Ordered the Seafood Dune Fries as an appetizer and my husband loved them. The order was huge and too much for two people that are also ordering a meal. I had the cocoanut shrimp for a meal and they were good. Husband had the pot roast and loved it but couldn't eat it all because he had too many fries. Would have loved to have tried the cobbler as people at the other table were raving about it, be we were too full. They give you little muffins instead of bread. On other occasions have had the meatloaf and loved it.

Blue Coast Seafood Grill and Fish Market
We were advised to go early for dinner as it gets very crowded. We arrived at 6 PM and were seated quickly but the tables filled very soon therafter and there were many people waiting outside by the time we left around 7:15. We had the chilled Lobster Dip as an appetizer with a glass of wine. The Riesling was $9/glass! The cheapest glass of wine is $7. The lobster dip was disappointing and seemed to have no flavor. My husband said the ones he buys at the grocery store are better and I agreed. I had the Lobster Penne which I thought was very good. Husband had the Seafood Stew and was disappointed saying the broth was not very tasty which was evident when he did not dip his bread in it to savor all the broth which he does when he really likes it. The service was good, but the hostess dressed very weirdly. She had on a nice sun dress but Ugh-type boots -- very strange for the shore and really not appropriate for a hostess.

I have to say that normally I have good experiences at Capriotti's, good size sandwiches with plenty of meat and prompt service. However, this past weekend I had a steak and cheese where I could hardly chew through the steak. It was tough and there was way too much gristle. If this will be the norm for their steak and cheese I will have to go elsewhere for my sandwiches. I will try them one more time on the theory that perhaps they just received a batch of tough beef.

My wife and I called ahead for a pick up lunch order. My wife ordered the ham, turkey, cran slam...it came triple decker with REAL sliced turkey. I ordered the classic 9 inch Italian sub...it came loaded with all the classic meats...the 9 inch is still a handfull and enough to last for the day. Capriotti's is much better than some of the boardwalk shops...better quality products...better service. You really get what you pay for...we will make it a point to try their other sandwiches and subs.

China Express
Just an average strip mall Chinese restaurant that probably started out serving real Chinese food and then Americanized their meals. I would prefer to order the dish I want, not to have to specify how I want the dish prepared. Unfortunately, when we want good authentic Chinese food we head to the Baltimore-Washington area.

I am so sad to write this, as I wrote a 5-star review last year (see below), but I have to do it. Unfortunately, business has gotten too big for "Z" to handle with the same charisma and care he and his family supplied in the past. Last summer, they started to be exclusive, and, contrary to what is posted above on this website, they turned my family away for not having a reservation. They could not even politley offer the option for us to wait. We were not at all demanding, and were actually turned away. We have been a steady, although mostly seasonal, customer for years, and we were so disappointed. It was a loss for us, but the failure to manage the situation better has cost our old pal our business. Just so happens to be competition in Bethany now, so, sorry to say, see ya.

.Got to have great chinese food and since moving to the Fenwick Island area for sometime now, China Express is the place to go out and enjoy great chinese food when you are in the mood for it. "Z" is the man and he will take care of you and will modify your order anyway you want. Everyone is friendly and they always remember your face and what you like to order. Nothing fancy there just great food and service. Trust me I am used to having great ethnic food having lived the big city almost my whole life. Although I miss other ethnic cuisines very much,I am glad this place is here for us. Just go once and you will be a repeat customer just like us. Did I mention that their prices are way too low for such great food!!!!!

Kool Bean Bistro
Had dinner here last week with friends and were all impressed with both the food and service. The mussels appetizer, recommended by our waiter Eddie, was just luscious and our main dishes more than fulfilled our expectations. The setting was comfortable and friendly rather than stuffy, and all of the staff were helpful. We look forward to returning and highly recommend this to other diners. It was a pricey meal but absolutely worth it because of the experience and the memories created.

We have been going to Kool Bean since they opened on Rte. 26. We have tried to keep it a secret but haven't been too successful. We just have to talk to our friends about this place because everything about it is just great! The owner, Nancy, can't sit still. She is constantly checking to make sure customers are being taken care of which is always nothing to worry about since the waiters and waitresses are wonderful. We are regulars for breakfast and lunch especially since they are open early. Dinner is out of this world and they are constantly coming up with fresh food and ideas to add to the menu. They recently were named best bistro in the Delaware magazine. Well deserved, I'd say!

Northeast Seafood Kitchen
We have been eating at SoDel restaurants for many years and until last night have never had a bad experience. The grilled scallops were perfectly cooked and tasted great but were gritty. The recipe for lobster mac and cheese has changed. The dish is now more like lobster alfredo. It was creamy but tasteless and very disappointing. On the plus side, Ellen our server gets a 5. She was friendly, knowledgeable and kept us smiling.

Always excellent. Friendly and prompt service. HUGE martini, exactly as I ordered it. The scallops are excellent. My 12 year old ordered from the kids menu. He got sashimi grade tuna! These guys aren't doing anything half-assed. Try the oatmeal pie. Sounds strange, but really worth it. I'll continue to be a regular customer for the long run.

Romeo's Kitchen
i went with my wife and kids for dinner and the atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. we all enjoyed our meals. i had the crab cake which was excellent and my wife's steak was of good size and cooked exactly to her preference. the service was good and i will definitely be making romeo's kitchen a regular place whenever i visit bethany.
Rating: 4   James - posted: Monday, August 2nd, 2010 @ 9:23 pm

We have been to Romeo's for breakfast a few times in the past two years...the service has always been good and the breakfast average. We recently tried the lunch items and were disappointed. My wife ordered the crab melt which turned out to be a small amount of canned crab smothered in cheese on an english muffin...lack of flavor...below average. I ordered a cup of the Maryland crab soup and was disappointed with the watery contents (no seasoning)...frozen veggies and again canned crab meat. (I might not be surprised if the crab soup came directly from a can and reheated in the microwave oven.) The 'flounder' sandwich I ordered was a slab of frozen fish cooked in the deep fryer...the bun was ok...dry...and I had to ask for tartar sauce and ketchup for the fries (which were good). Apparently, the restaurant is undergoing new ownership and will be moving toward a new menu sometime next week...the prices on the items we ordered appear to be higher on the new menu...we hope the quality will match the new pricing...fresher...from scratch...with care and love.

We've eaten at Romeo's 3 times and the food has been excellent all 3 times. The patty melt is one of the best I've ever had and the crab melt was outstanding. Especially for that price. My wife's omelet was good sized and tasty. It's never crowded at luch time and the service has been very good.

The Chef's Pantry
Delicious! I have yet to try something I didn't like. As a local, I buy sandwiches, wraps, and different deli products there now all the time. My friends and I have made it a point to buy our dinners there to bring up to the beach on different nights!

I would rate this a 3+ I had a delicious cup of crab soup from here. I thinned it out a bit and it became a bowl! I had a good roast beef sandwich, but it was $8.95, which I think is pricey. Like every other place in town at this time of the year, the tomatoes are unripe and pink, in which case I think I would rather not have them. Service was great and the place was SPOTLESS, which is really important to me.

Five Guys
Read the other reviews and agree about the obnoxious staff. Been to other 5 guys restaurants around the country and sorry, this one is NOT typical. Saving grace was the scenery. They allow girls to come in and eat in swimsuits. Watching a bathing beauty try to get hamburger grease off of her chest was somewhere between funny and x-rated. Come on kids, this is a family place!

The Blue Crab
Really great service. It's tough to screw up crabs, but I've seen it done. The Blue Crab serves them hot and covered in Old Bay. Decent prices, but crabs cost a fortune these days anyway. It's great for a once or twice a years splurge if you want the jumbos or AYCE.

My friend and I tried Blue Crab for the first time on a rainy Tuesday night. We were the only diners so the service was excellent, but I am sure Monica will be just as good when they are crowded. Food was good but what really won me over was REAL butter to dip our crab legs in! (So many places use that yellow liquid. )Also a great sour cream/horseradish dip for the complimentary chips, very nice!

Sedona Restaurant
I have to agree with the previous post. My wife and I were very unhappy with the rude service by the waiter, I think his name was Dave. The food is not worth the price, too salty, and under portioned. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone either.

Over priced with a waiter who thought it was cute to grab my shoulder while I was with my boyfriend. The food was terrible and doing American tapas in Bethany beach where the portions were less than average, makes me feel cheated out of a hundred dollar tab! This place is not ready for prime time. We waited 10 minutes for an empty table to be cleared. 10 more minutes for a waitress. After waiting 15 more minutes for coffee, we were told that they were out of coffee and had to make more. 10 minutes later, two parties that just arrived at their tables were served coffee. No one came to our table with coffee. We still hadn't received our food. We walked out.

Sorry to see the Oak Arbor Inn go, but this looks really promising. I agree with the earlier review that their first weeekend was hectic, but the food was fine and the effort was there. We went again last weekend, with a party of six (a three-year old and a seven-year old included) and things were great. The food -- omelets, chipped beef, waffles, salmon and bagel -- was fine, the service efficient and friendly. One in our family is gluten intolerant and they do a great job with gluten-free ingredients. The chef even came out to check on the gluten-free bagel! A nice addition to the area.

Surf's Up
Come on Keith, get real, all beach places have zoned out staff. Our family eats at Surf's Up every time we drive down to our beach house. Yeah, it's a bit gritty, but if you can just chat up the folks in line, clarify what's going on, be aware, it is fine, just like the rest of the beach. Don't like it, stay in the city. As for the good, good hot pies, thin crust, and a great cheesesteak! 4 star rating only b/c I reserve 5 stars for my top top places in the world. In the sea of restaurants at the beach, it rocks it.

Patsy's Casual Gourmet Dining
Please visit my facebook review page for more Bethany Beach Restaurant reviews. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nash-vs-Food/127707257241273 About Patsy's: This, people, was what I live for. It was the perfect meal!!! It was pleasing in so many ways I can't even begin to tell you. Like I said..... it was perfect! Patsy and her staff greeted us and were as friendly as could be. By the time I was done with dinner, I felt Patsy was an old friend. I look forward to returning, soon, to sample more of her amazing treats! This is what I had.... The House made White Passion Fruit Sangria with fresh blueberries and blackberries & mint was great!!! Key West Conch Fritters - chopped conch, battered and fried golden with a spicy chipotle pepper aioli. This had just enough kick to it not to overpower the fritters! Fried just right! Fried Green Tomatoes ~ topped with a roasted red pepper/Vermont Cheddar cheese spread, fresh basil pesto and a balsamic reduction with a side herb salad. And let me tell you, these fried green tomatoes put EVERY other fried green tomatoe I have ever eaten TO SHAME !! Seared Day Boat Scallops on a Sesame Soba Noodle Salad. The scallops were cooked just right, lightly seared..... the sesame noodles were a perfect match! 4lb Steamed Maine Lobster ~ served with real butter & lemon! Cooked just right..... tender... with real butter!!! Next time I think I'll need a 6lb'er :) It was SOOOOOOO good! 3 Desserts ~ yes people, 3. And we ate them ALL. Rhubarb & Strawberry Cobbler with house made Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I think i might have enjoyed this one too much :)) Key Lime Pie with fresh whipped cream and lime zest. This is something you must try. It's so hard to find a well made, let alone perfectly cooked, key lime pie!! But let me tell you....this is one of them! Banana Crepe ~ Fresh banana wrapped in wheat crepes, flash fried and served with whipped cream, caramel sauce and cinnamon & sugar. I was reluctant to try this but I am SOO glad I did. Another great ending to a perfect meal! Patsy's has a Key West feel to it, without being one of the low budget filth houses that you often find in Key West. It was clean, well decorated, and made me want to put my toes in the sand. We drove, literally, almost 4 hours to have dinner at Patsy's, and it was a trip I would take in a heart beat if there was something on the menu that caught my attention. Robin, her daughter, is one of the most talented chefs I have ever come across. We were informed by Patsy that Robin is very well traveled and really likes to get a feel for the spices she uses. It shows in her cooking. You can taste the passion in every bite. Robin was nice enough to come out of the kitchen to greet us after we had eaten, and she is every bit as beautiful as she is talented! (Just like her mother!) Thank you again for the wonderful meal!!!!!

These fries are so good, they could achieve world peace and stop global warming and pay off everyone's student loans. Nothing against Boardwalk, I'm sure their owners are nice people and don't wish harm on them, but I have no idea why anyone would get fries from any place else. So, to summarize, in case I have not been very clear, DB's fries are good. Get some.
